About the Journal
Peer Review Policy
After completing internal checks, each new submission is assigned to two peer reviewers with relevant subject expertise. These reviewers assess the manuscript based on IBT-JBS's publication standards and recommend any necessary revisions. All reviewers are members of the IBT-JBS Reviewers' Board. The Editor-in-Chief (EIC) selects reviewers based on their subject specialization, publication history, and prior review contributions, and formally invites them to evaluate the manuscript. Once the invitation is accepted, reviewers are typically given 30 days to submit their feedback.
IBT-JBS employs a double-blind peer review process, in which both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is independently reviewed by one international and one national reviewer. A manuscript is considered for publication only upon receiving positive evaluations from both reviewers.
Publishing Fee
An article processing charge (APC) of 100 USD is applied to all manuscripts accepted for publication in this journal.
